Briquettes are the log fuels of the future and Blazers are from the leading manufacturer in the country. They are produced to the highest standards in a new highly efficient purpose built facility. They contain no glues or additives, which means there are no sparks or spitting. They burn hotter and heat quicker resulting in less tar and cleaner chimneys. Blazers are also clean and easy to handle. Always store in a dry place.

Eco Briqs are a wonderfully simple and useful solution to the problem of waste cardboard. Capable of producing over 10 tonnes a week, this small family run business in Cumbria is a model of efficiency, and these briquettes are made with a huge amount of attention to detail and devotion. A serious amount of investment and development for such a small outfit means that they are manufactured to the highest standards.
Eco Briqs at a glance:
Excellent woodfuel manufactured from sawdust, chip and other forest residues.
A superb environmentally friendly and convenient alternative to coal, logs, coke or charcoal with the added benefit of minimal storage space.
These fuel logs are manufactured from a combination of sawdust, chip and other forest residues which are pressed under high pressure to form a stable briquette with a high calorific value.
Kiln-dried hardwood logs are perfectly seasoned and ready to burn on your fire or wood burning stove. These logs are much more efficient in terms of heat output per £, as very little of the energy in the log is wasted drying moisture, as with other soggy logs available. Which equals more energy for your home, in less time. They are clean to burn and clean to handle. Nice and simple, they'll give you that real log fire smell and atmosphere, which we find is often lost when your room is full of smoke and you're cursing at a soggy pile that wont burn!

The mysterious Looney Brothers of Ballanorris Farm believe in the good things in life, and in things done properly. Things done properly usually require great attention to detail, and thus usually more time. This applies to everything, including mashed potato, large leaf tea, muffin's bread, post-prandial somnolence and especially the art of making hay. At Ballanorris Farm you will usually find a very small herd of the most well cared for and contended beef cattle to be found probably anywhere on the island. It is for this reason that the Looney Brothers combine two lifetimes of experience, and the pinnacle of hay making technology (the unsurpassed and very rare 'Dicky' turner), to capture the finest hay possible at the peak of condition. Many people think that haymaking is simply cutting grass, scattering it about a bit, leaving it for a day, squishing it into a bale and sticking it in a barn, job done. Indeed, this is how a lot of hay is made these days, which is why a lot of hay goes mouldy, dusty, and uneaten! There is no secret to fine quality hay, it just takes longer than most people are prepared to take in both preparation and maturing, and a nerve of steel when it comes to working with the weather. The Looney Brothers painstaking techniques and intricate knowledge of the art of hay making produce probably the best hay available on the Isle of Man. As they say about the stout, good things come to those who...
